Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

J wanted to join WPPI Las Vegas this year, but his schedule was not compatible with the convention. He envies other NC photographers who can join the meeting. J has three year membership with WPPI, so he will join the annual WPPI meeting next year. He is in Riverside, CA. J is traveling to California for other business opportunities. J keeps in mind destination weddings in California. J studied in UC, Riverside for his Ph.D.; therefore, he knows Riverside well. J likes to travel for his clients to San Diego, New Port beach, Los Angels and other major cities in southern California.

PUG meeting on Thursday

Friday, February 5th, 2010

Raleigh photographer J attended a PUG meeting on Thursday to meet other NC photographers. It is a Pictage User Group hosted by Frank and Elizabeth. It was a great meeting. We had two wedding industry speakers: Joy Edwards and Gail Stephenson. The topics were for beginner photographers and as well as for advanced photographers on how to market for the event and wedding photography. They told us that event planners, first of all, like photographers who dress appropriately and formally. Planners also like photographers who devote their time and efforts to make their clients happy. We also discussed about educating our clients on prices and types of  albums, and importance of wedding planners and photographers. Wedding photography is all about brides and grooms in the events, not for the wedding photographers, nor for the wedding planners.  We NC photographers agree that the wedding photography is all about bride and groom and other clients being happy.

African ceremony at the Mill Room in the Factory (Raleigh, NC)

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Bunmi’s African ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Mill Room in the Factory

A leading photographer J is excited about the African ceremony. In the Factory (1839 S. Main St.
Suite 400
Wake Forest, NC 27587), more than 30 businesses including YMCA and Works of Clay are located. You can find sports businesses, other recreation businesses, and entertainment businesses. Raleigh photographer J visited the Factory to take some pictures before the African ceremony. J thinks that the Mill Room looked very nice. It can be a place for a ceremony and any kinds of party.
